Hailing from Jeffrey’s Bay and currently living and working in Johannesburg, Wesley Ayliffe is an award-winning on-set sound recordist and audio post production engineer with over a decade of experience.
He graduated from the Academy of Sound Engineering in 2010 with a distinction in Music Production. A passionate multi-instrumentalist, he entered the music industry as an engineer and session musician.
In 2013, he shifted his focus from music, providing a full suite of on-set and post production services for the local and international film, television, and corporate industries.
Passionate about unscripted content, his on-set work has taken him across the globe to Kenya, Japan, Costa Rica, Mauritius, Peru, Croatia, and the United States.
When he’s not negotiating baggage carry-on limits with airport officials, he can be found in his studio in Johannesburg, where he specialises in mixing and dialogue editing.
